Job summary

Stryker is seeking Software Engineers for its 24-month R&D Graduate Programme in Ireland. The role rotates every six months across Design, Advanced Operations/RTD, and Advanced Quality Engineering, with emphasis on translating user needs into robust software solutions.

Applicants should be on track for a 2.1 in software/computer engineering and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Hybrid working is available in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2.1 or above in Software/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Candidate should be on track to graduate between June 2025 and Sept 2027.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs into design inputs/specifications and define sub-system level designs.
• Own design, implementation and testing of software modules with proper documentation.
• Utilise version control to maintain traceable development history.
• Balance design trade-offs to deliver robust software components.
