Job summary

Stryker is hiring an Electrical Engineer for its 24‑month R&D Graduate Programme in Ireland, starting September 2027. The programme rotates every six months across Design, Advanced Operations/ R&T Development, Advanced Quality Engineering, and Engineering Services (CAD/Prototype/Test Lab).

Applicants should be on track for a 2.1 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and will join a fast-paced, collaborative team. Hybrid working and a strong development path are offered.

Qualifications

• 2.1 result in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Between June 2025 and Sept 2027.
• Self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills; able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, designing, developing and implementing new devices and technology.
• Accelerating the launch of new products by removing the technology unknowns.
• Working within the quality systems and with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Providing process validation support internally and with vendors.
• Developing and qualifying new test equipment and methods.
