Job summary

Stryker is recruiting Electrical Engineers for its R&D Graduate Programme in Ireland. The 24‑month development programme rotates every six months through Design, Advanced Operations/RTD, Advanced Quality Engineering, and Engineering Services (CAD/Prototype/Test Lab).

Ideal candidates are on track for a 2.1 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with passion for fast-paced, cross-functional work and collaboration with clinicians and global teams. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have achieved or be on track for a 2.1 in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree.
• Results expected between June 2025 and Sept 2027.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, design, develop and implement new devices and technology.
• Accelerate product launches by addressing unknowns early.
• Work with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering within quality systems.
• Provide validation support internally and with vendors.
• Develop and qualify new test equipment and methods.
• Design circuits including schematic capture and PCB layout for PCBA and components.
