Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Cork, Ireland, invites applications for a 24-month R&D Graduate Programme starting September 2027. The program rotates across mechanical, biomedical and manufacturing areas, with six-month assignments to build core technical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Candidates should be on track for a 2.1 in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Biomedical Engineering, with strong problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2.1 honours in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Currently on track to graduate between June 2025 and Sept 2027.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 6-month rotational assignments across design, manufacturing and quality.
• Work with a design team to develop innovative product concepts.
• Investigate, design, develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technology.
• Handover of new processes from development to production and ensure quality systems are in place.
• Develop and qualify new test equipment and methods; validate processes with vendors.
