Suir Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for an Energy Power and Renewable project based in Offaly.

The successful candidate will have a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years’ experience as a Project QS, with civil and electrical/mechanical project exposure. Role involves managing commercial and contractual requirements across the project lifecycle, interfacing with the Client Commercial/Contract Team, procuring sub-contractors,

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Project QS.

Responsabilités

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project procurement including sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and/or subcontractors to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.
