Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for the DCS Whitespace programme in Dublin and other European cities. You will oversee commercial activities on large Data Centre Solutions projects and lead a team of QS professionals across EMEA, collaborating closely with procurement to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large projects (>€500k).
• Proven ability to lead QS teams and collaborate with procurement.
• Strong involvement in pre-tender and post-tender activities including cost planning and value management.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial oversight on large projects across EMEA (>€500k).
• Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors across BU's in EMEA.
• Coordinate with Procurement to build reliable supply chains and vet quality and pricing.
• Carry out pre-contract duties: take-offs, tender documents, sub-contract and material enquiries, cost plans, risk registers.
• Carry out post-contract duties: contract documentation, variations, interim valuations, final accounts, site measurements.
• Prepare regular bi-monthly and monthly commercial reports for senior management.
• Maintain client relationships and act as main QS contact for project costs.
