Job summary

JMG Solutions Ltd in Ireland is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a permanent, office-based role. You will manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring costs are controlled and accuracy is maintained.

Qualifications

• Level 7/8 qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Experience with estimating or quantity surveying software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Carrying out quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Reviewing and administering contracts.
• Managing project costs, valuations and commercial reporting.
• Preparing purchase orders and monitoring project expenditure.
• Producing accurate measurements, calculations and supporting documentation.
• Managing project accounts and maintaining detailed commercial records.
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Using Excel and PDF drawings to prepare accurate commercial documentation.
