Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Navan-based project team delivering healthcare and commercial projects across North Dublin and Meath.

You will manage all commercial and contract affairs, ensuring cost control, value optimisation, and robust contract administration. The role requires 3–5 years QS experience and a degree recognised by RICS/SCSI. A company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability.
• RICS/SCSI recognised degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial and contract administration activities
• Handle change management and maintain variation registers
• Procure and negotiate subcontract packages to achieve best value
• Support project budgets, cost plans, and commercial reporting
• Assess and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts
• Prepare monthly CVRs and cost forecasting
• Maximise cash flow through accurate valuations and submissions
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including contractual claims
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams

A leading developer is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Navan-based project team, delivering a range of healthcare and commercial projects across North Dublin and Meath.

The successful candidate will manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring effective cost control, value maximisation, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial and contract administration activities
• Handle change management and maintain variation registers
• Procure and negotiate subcontract packages to achieve best value
• Support project budgets, cost plans, and commercial reporting
• Assess and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts
• Prepare monthly Cost Value Reports (CVRs) and cost forecasting
• Maximise cash flow through accurate valuations and submissions
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including contractual claims
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or an equivalent qualification (RICS/SCSI recognised)
• 3–5 years’ QS experience in the construction industry
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability
