One of Ireland’s leading civil engineering contractors is currently looking for an Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their Meath office. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for civil engineering projects.
• Monitor project costs and support financial management throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Manage procurement processes and subcontractor relationships to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee variations and ensure compliance with contract terms and client requirements.
• Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to address issues and maintain project momentum.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior quantity surveyors within the team.

Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of contract management, cost control, and project finance.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
