Job summary

Civil Engineering Contractor in Meath seeks an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (3–4 years) to join their team. You will work on civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Meath and Dublin, including Dublin Airport, handling budgets, procurement and cost control.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a willingness to travel across Meath and Dublin.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Civil engineering experience is essential.
• Experience with a main contractor or civils contractor.
• Proven experience across procurement, cost control and final accounts.
• Good knowledge of contracts, valuations, variations and subcontractor management.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Meath and Dublin.

A well-established civil engineering contractor, with its head office based in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with 3–4 years’ experience to join their team.

The successful candidate will work across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Meath and Dublin, including a major project at Dublin Airport.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial and cost control across civil engineering projects
• Preparing budgets, cost plans, estimates and tender documentation
• Assisting with subcontractor procurement, negotiations and package management
• Managing interim valuations, variations, claims and final accounts
