Job summary

M&P Mechanical is looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Dublin to manage the commercial lifecycle of large-scale mechanical projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on budget, and to high standards.

Position

Quantity Surveyor (Dublin / Greater Dublin Area).

Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor at M&P Mechanical you will manage the commercial lifecycle of large‑scale mechanical projects, from pre‑construction and procurement through to final accounts. You will work alongside Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement Teams and Senior Management to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on budget and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts
• Manage subcontractor packages and accounts
• Monitor project cash flow and financial performance
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
• Ensure contractual compliance throughout project delivery
• Produce accurate monthly commercial reports

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within the construction industry
• Exposure to Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing or M&E projects
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Positive attitude with passion to learn and succeed, energy, and accountability
