Job summary
Egmont in Dublin is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its major projects team. The role focuses on the financial and contractual success of multi-million-euro builds in Dublin and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying with 4+ years' experience in main contracting or consultancy, and proven ability to manage procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts. You will contribute to commercial reporting, risk mitigation and margin protection on
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 4+ years’ experience with a main contractor or consultancy.
- Experience on large-scale projects (€20m+ preferred).
- Excellent communication and reporting ability.

Salary: €70,000 + Benefits
Location: Projects across Dublin & surrounding areas
We are partnering with one of Ireland’s most established Tier 1 contractors, delivering landmark developments across infrastructure, commercial, residential, data centres, and life sciences. The company has a decades-long reputation for engineering excellence, financial stability, and building some of the country’s most complex and high-profile projects.
Due to continued growth and major project wins, they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and work on multi-million-euro builds in and around Dublin.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key part in the financial and contractual success of major construction projects. Responsibilities include:
- Procurement & subcontractor management
- Valuations, variations & final accounts
- Contract administration (RIAI / Public Works / FIDIC / NEC experience advantageous)
- Commercial reporting and financial analysis
- Supporting project delivery teams to maximise margins and mitigate risk
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 4+ years’ experience with a main contractor or consultancy
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Experience on large-scale projects (€20m+ preferred)
- Excellent communication and reporting ability
