Job summary

Vickerstock are recruiting for a Quality Supervisor on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a negotiable salary and attractive company benefits. You will report to the Quality Manager and oversee day-to-day QA/QC activities, providing leadership to the QA/QC Technician team and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP and quality standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Food Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in a quality role within food manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with BRCGS, retailer standards or third-party audits.
• Experience with non-conformance management, root cause analysis and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the QA/QC Technician team.
• Plan workloads and ensure Quality coverage across production.
• Oversee daily GMP audits and corrective actions.
• Monitor product quality, specifications and labelling standards.
• Support BRCGS, retailer and third-party audits.
• Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Coordinate Quality training, calibration and validation activities.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Support Quality improvement projects and site KPIs.
• Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.

Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Quality Supervisor on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional looking to take the next step in their career and join an established Quality Team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day Quality activities across the site, providing leadership and support to the QA/QC Technician team.

You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and compliance, while working closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the QA/QC Technician team.
