Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a Quality Supervisor for our client in Longford. The role oversees QA/QC technicians and drives quality improvements across production lines.

You will support audits, maintain traceability, and ensure GMP standards while developing strong customer and cross‑functional relationships. A 3+ year background in food quality is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science/Technology.
• 3+ years experience in a similar role/environment.
• Experience in a Quality role within the food manufacturing industry (supervisory experience preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of quality management techniques such as HACCP.
• Strong interpersonal skills, being persuasive and assertive.
• Methodical and logical with an ability to provide solutions.

Job Title Quality Supervisor Job Location Co. Longford Salary €45K - €55K (Based on Experience) About the Company: INFORM3 are recruiting for a Quality Supervisor to maintain an independent quality overview over our clients processes and outputs. The ideal candidate should have around 3+ years experience in a similar role with proven experience designing, implementing and overseeing quality improvements in the manufacturing sector. Duties Include: Supervise, support, and develop QA / QC Technicians. Plan workload, assign tasks, and ensure appropriate coverage across production lines. Play an integral role as part of a small, yet highly productive team, establishing strong working relationships with customers, as well as colleagues. Providing technical support especially regarding production issues you will be key in maintaining and developing customer relationships and developing the business. Support site audit readiness (BRCGS, IFS, retailer audits, regulatory inspections) by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation. Ensure traceability, product control, and GMP standards are consistently met across all production areas. Prepare specifications and ensuring old ones are updated in an accordingly manner. Working efficiently within the Quality Department to ensure delivery of safe products that meet customer specifications. Carry out Audits when required and deal with customer complaints. Complete all weekly and daily key performance indicator reports accurately. Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and technical functions to resolve quality issues. Respond to customer complaints and rejections. Perform root cause analysis and put corrective actions in place where non-compliance is identified on the production floor or with product quality. Skills & Experience Required: Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology discipline. 3+ years experience within a similar role/environment. Experience in a Quality role within the food manufacturing industry (supervisory experience preferred). Extensive knowledge of quality management techniques such as HACCP. Strong interpersonal skills, being both persuasive and assertive. Methodical and logical with an ability to provide solutions Strong mathematic, written English and IT skills, demonstrable experience of Microsoft applications.
