Job summary

Vickerstock are partnered with an award-winning FMCG client, seeking an experienced Assistant Quality Manager to join their state-of-the-art Ballyconnell facility. This is an excellent opportunity to step into management, take on broader responsibility and develop leadership experience within a growing Quality function.

The role involves supporting the Quality Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring products meet customer, legal and quality requirements, assisting audits, investigating issues

Qualifications

• Experience within an FMCG/food manufacturing environment.
• Strong auditing experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Looking to progress your career within Quality Management.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the Quality function.
• Ensure products meet customer, legal and quality requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Investigate quality issues, non-conformances and complaints.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production and Operations.
• Develop and mentor members of the Quality team.
• Maintain quality documentation and standards.

Vickerstock are excited to be partnered with our award-winning FMCG client, who are seeking an experienced Assistant Quality Manager to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility in Ballyconnell.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional looking to take the next step into management, take on increased responsibility and develop their leadership experience.

The Ballyconnell site is continuing to expand, making this an exciting time to join the business, with potential opportunities for further career progression as the Quality function grows.

The Role

Working closely with the Quality Manager, you will support the effective management of the Quality function and help ensure consistently high standards across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Quality Manager with the day-to-day management of the Quality function
• Ensuring products meet customer, legal and quality requirements
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Investigating quality issues, non-conformances and complaints
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with Production and Operations
• Supporting and developing members of the Quality team
• Maintaining quality documentation and standards

About You

• Experience within an FMCG/food manufacturing environment
• Strong auditing experience
• Previous experience within a Quality function
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong people management and leadership qualities
• Looking to progress your career within Quality Management
