Job summary

Vickerstock, based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join its established Quality Team. You will maintain the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with customer requirements and BRCGS/IFS standards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a Quality role within food manufacturing, holds a third‑level qualification, and will drive audits, CAPAs and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a quality role within food manufacturing or a regulated environment
• Third-level qualification in related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and Quality Management Systems
• Experience with auditing, document control and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the site's Food Safety Management System.
• Review customer Codes of Practice, BRCGS, IFS and internal standards.
• Complete gap analyses and update procedures and SOPs as required.
• Manage and coordinate the internal audit programme.
• Support and participate in HACCP, traceability and customer audits.
• Ensure audit non-conformances are investigated and closed on time.
• Manage document control across the Quality Management System.
• Work closely with Production to maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and report on site Quality KPIs and trends.
• Drive Quality and Food Safety improvement projects.
• Support customer complaint management when required.
• Promote food safety culture and continuous improvement across the site.
• Support CCP controls and ensure relevant procedures are maintained.

Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Compliance Coordinator on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to join an established Quality Team and play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the site's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, you will work closely with Quality, Production and other departments to ensure compliance with customer requirements, BRCGS, IFS and internal standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining audit readiness, driving food safety culture and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Third-level qualification in related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience working within a BRCGS/IFS environment.
• Experience with auditing, document control and continuous improvement.
