EME Contracts UK Ltd in Cork is seeking a Quality Engineer (Mechanical) to support the client’s Quality Management Systems and specifications. The role involves implementing the Project QMS, performing audits, coordinating welding and NDT activities, and managing inspection records.

The candidate should have a degree in Quality/Mechanical Engineering, familiarity with welding codes, and ISO 9001 experience; CSWIP/NDT qualifications are desirable.

Formación

• Degree in Quality Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding of welding technology.
• CSWIP Welding Inspector (desirable).
• NDT PCN/SNT qualification (desirable).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the Project Quality Management System is fully implemented.
• Perform internal and external quality audits.
• Coordinate welding, NDT, PWHT and pressure testing.
• Monitor material receipt inspection and maintain calibration records.
• Manage quality records, weld coupons, inspector activities and test reports.
• Liaise with client representatives to coordinate inspections.
• Oversee sub-contractor quality documentation and post-test checks.
