Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to support the ongoing maintenance and development of our Quality Management Systems. This role ensures compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and food safety expectations, while supporting the wider Quality Assurance function.

You will work with internal teams, suppliers and auditors to drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality systems, auditing, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• A food science qualification is advantageous.

Support Food Safety, Compliance and Continuous Improvement in a Key Quality Role

Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Systems Coordinator to support the ongoing maintenance and development of our Quality Management Systems. This role is central to ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and food safety expectations, while providing valuable support across the wider Quality Assurance function.

Working closely with internal teams, suppliers and auditors, you'll help manage quality documentation, coordinate testing and verification activities, support audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their career in food quality and compliance. This position offers a competitive pay rate of €18.96 per hour.

Key Duties

• You’ll support the effective operation of quality systems and help maintain compliance across the site.
• Coordinate laboratory sampling, testing schedules and review results, including follow-up actions where required
• Lead weekly microbiological review meetings and maintain action trackers
• Create and manage purchase orders through SAP
• Administer Safefood 360, including monitoring records and system management
• Provide Quality Control support during periods of absence and annual leave
• Manage supplier approvals, specifications, certificates and annual compliance documentation
• Produce weekly dashboards and monthly quality reports
• Monitor calibrations, cleaning validations, hygiene standards and pest control actions

Ideal Candidate

• We're looking for a highly organised individual with a passion for quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of quality systems, auditing, HACCP and food safety standards
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and spoken English
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• A qualification in a food science or related discipline would be advantageous
