Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe seeks a Hygiene Operator to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety across our production facility on the night shift. You will clean and prepare production areas, equipment and machinery to required standards to support safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning of production lines and equipment
• Remove, clean and reassemble machine components for production
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings and associated areas to required standards
• Work across multiple departments including production, chill and freezer areas
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within timescales
• Adhere to SOPs, food safety and quality requirements
• Complete cleaning records and workflow documentation accurately
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, Quality and Production teams to maintain hygiene

Role Overview

As a Hygiene Operator, you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and operational readiness across our production facility. Your work will directly support product quality and ensure production teams can operate efficiently and safely.

Working as part of a collaborative team on the night shift, you'll be responsible for cleaning and preparing production areas, equipment and machinery to the standards required within a leading food manufacturing environment.

Key Duties

• Carry out thorough cleaning of production lines and equipment in line with cleaning procedures
• Remove, clean and reassemble machine components ready for production
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings and associated production areas to required standards
• Work across multiple departments, including production, chill and freezer areas
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within agreed timescales
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures, food safety and quality requirements
• Complete cleaning records, checklists and workflow documentation accurately
• Work closely with Team Leaders, Quality and Production teams to maintain hygiene standards
