Job summary

Viatris is seeking a QC Analyst in Ireland to analyze raw materials, in-process and finished products, and support method transfers and verifications. The role requires a Bachelor of Science degree and at least two years of laboratory experience, with experience in HPLC/UPLC preferred and further training provided.

The successful candidate will ensure GMP compliance, participate in non-routine projects, train team members and maintain instruments, contributing to Viatris' commitment to

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience in raw material/release testing.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC desirable.
• Experience in method transfer/verification desirable.
• Dry powder inhaler testing experience an advantage.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw materials, in process and finished products.
• Review analytical data, analytical reports and perform peer reviews.
• Perform analytical method transfers and compendia verifications.
• Instrument qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Protocol generation– method verification/transfer.
• Partake in non-routine/complex projects.
• Provide training for team members.
• Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to site policies, GMP and EH&S regulations.

• The analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products
• Reviewing analytical data, analytical reports and performing peer reviews
• Performing analytical method transfers and compendia verifications

• Providing training for team members
• Following all relevant Standard Operating procedures

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a Laboratory Environment
• Experience in Raw material/Release testing
• Experience in Method Transfer/Verification desirable
• Experience of Dry Power Inhaler testing would be an advantage
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC
• Must have effective problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word
