Job summary

Viatris is seeking a skilled Analytical Scientist to lead method transfers and validations for new product introductions in a GMP environment. You will act as the QC chromatography expert, guiding technical work and collaborations with development, manufacturing and regulatory teams.

With a background in HPLC/GC or peptide analysis and Empower software, you will drive analytical readiness, investigations and documentation, while mentoring QC analysts and ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science related discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry or Analytical science) and several years of relevant industrial experience.
• Previous HPLC/GC/peptide analysis experience in method validation/transfer (preferably with Empower software) is essential
• Strong working knowledge of chemistry/biochemistry (chromatographic, wet chemistry and peptide analysis) techniques.
• Strong technical trouble shooting and writing skills.
• Empower and other lab software systems.
• cGMP Computer skills (MS Office, Trackwise, Minitab).

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Science related discipline ( Chemistry, Biochemistry or Analytical science) and several years of relevant industrial experience.
• Previous HPLC/GC/ peptide analysis experience in method validation / transfer (preferably with Empower software) is essential
