Job summary

Viatris is seeking a QC Analyst in Ireland with a strong background in pharmaceutical analytics. You will analyze raw materials, in-process and finished products, review data, and support method transfers and verifications. Experience with HPLC/UPLC and inhalation products is advantageous.

The role requires a BS degree and at least 2 years in a laboratory setting, with proficiency in Excel/Word. You will work within a GMP-compliant environment in Dublin, contributing to high-quality medicines

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience in Raw material/Release testing.
• Experience in Method Transfer/Verification desirable.
• Dry Powder Inhaler testing experience would be an advantage.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC.
• Must have effective problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
• Review analytical data and reports; perform peer reviews.
• Perform analytical method transfers and verifications.
• Conduct instrument qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Generate protocols - method verification/transfer.
• Participate in non-routine/complex projects.
• Provide training for team members.
• Follow all relevant SOPs and ensure GMP and EH&S compliance.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• The analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products
• Reviewing analytical data, analytical reports and performing peer reviews
• Performing analytical method transfers and compendia verifications
• Instrument qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Protocol generation - method verification/transfer
• Partaking in non-routine/complex projects
• Providing training for team members
• Following all relevant Standard Operating procedures
• Ensuring strict adherence to site policies, GMP and environmental, health and safety regulations

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
