Job summary

Mylan Teoranta in Ireland seeks a QC Analyst I to perform wet-chemistry analysis of materials and products and keep GMP documentation up to date. You will work within a collaborative QC team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a science degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Training is provided, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline (preferably Chemistry).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication and time management.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of basic/intermediate chemistry and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Routine wet chemistry testing of raw materials, in process, finished product and stability samples in strict GLP & cGMP procedures.
  • Sampling of raw materials/excipients and water samples when required to assist the QC Sampling Technician.
  • Support validation programmes including process and method validations.
  • Participate in department projects, as assigned by QC Team Leader/QC Manager.
  • Support continuous improvement projects such as 6S and lean processes for the laboratory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The Quality Control (QC) Analyst I will be responsible for wet chemistry analysis of raw materials, in-process, finished product and stability product samples and completing the relevant GMP documentation.

  • Routine wet chemistry testing of raw materials, in process, finished product and stability samples in strict compliance with GLP & cGMP procedures.
  • Sampling of raw materials/excipients and water samples when required to assist the QC Sampling Technician.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Science related discipline (preferably Chemistry) relevant industrial experience - However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Communication skills both verbal & written with good time management skills.
  • Must possess the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
  • Must possess knowledge of basic/intermediate chemistry and computer skills (MS Office)
