Job summary

Viatris is seeking a QC Analyst at our Dublin site to analyze raw materials, in-process and finished products, ensuring GMP compliance and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science, 2 years of laboratory experience, and proficiency with HPLC/UPLC. Excel/Word skills and strong problem-solving abilities are essential. Experience with Dry Powder Inhaler testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years' laboratory experience.
• Experience in Raw material/Release testing.
• Experience in Method Transfer/Verification desirable.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC is required.
• Experience with Dry Powder Inhaler testing is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Review analytical data and reports, perform peer reviews.
• Perform analytical method transfers and compendia verifications.
• Instrument qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Protocol generation - method verification/transfer.
• Partake in non-routine/complex projects.
• Provide training for team members.
• Follow all relevant SOPs and site policies; GMP and EH&S compliance.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• The analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products
• Reviewing analytical data, analytical reports and performing peer reviews
• Performing analytical method transfers and compendia verifications
• Instrument qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Protocol generation - method verification/transfer
• Partaking in non-routine/complex projects
• Providing training for team members
• Following all relevant Standard Operating procedures
• Ensuring strict adherence to site policies, GMP and environmental, health and safety regulations

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a Laboratory Environment
• Experience in Raw material/Release testing
• Experience in Method Transfer/Verification desirable
• Experience of Dry Power Inhaler testing would be an advantage
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC
• Must have effective problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word
