SRS Recruitment Solutions, based in Santry, Dublin, seeks a Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to lead the purchasing and planning teams. You will own demand planning, supplier performance, and inventory optimisation within a growing manufacturing/distribution setting.

The role requires senior experience in purchasing/procurement and a strong grasp of S&OP/IBP, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance. Competitive package on offer.

• Senior-level experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, distribution or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of strategic purchasing and supplier relationship management.

• Strong understanding of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems and demand planning or inventory management software.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and report purchasing and supply chain KPIs.
• Use data, technology and digital planning tools to improve supply chain performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across purchasing, forecasting, inventory and supplier management.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain professional to join an established and growing business and play a key role in its continued development.

Based at the company’s headquarters in Santry, Dublin, the successful candidate will join the Operations Leadership Team and take responsibility for purchasing, demand planning, inventory optimisation and supplier performance.

The Role

As Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager, you will:

• Lead, mentor and develop the Purchasing & Supply Chain team.
• Develop and implement the purchasing and supply chain strategy.

• Lead SKU rationalisation, product lifecycle management and new product introduction planning.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Senior-level experience within Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, distribution or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of strategic purchasing and supplier relationship management.
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting and inventory optimisation.
• A strong understanding of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems and demand planning or inventory management software.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
• Experience managing supplier performance, risk and supply chain continuity.
• Strong project and change management experience.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
• The ability to work effectively across Sales, Operations, Finance and senior management.
• A proactive and commercially focused approach with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
