Gilligan Black Recruitment is seeking a Buyer / Supply Chain Exec for a fully on-site role in Dublin 24. You will work directly with the Purchasing Director to manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and purchase orders, ensuring a smooth flow of goods across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities include stock control, placing orders, maintaining records, negotiating terms with suppliers, and supporting reporting and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a buying, purchasing, or supply chain role (home furnishings, retail, or FMCG experience an advantage).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with suppliers.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day stock control.

• Liaise closely with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships.
• Work collaboratively with the supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, or pricing issues as they arise.
• Assist with range planning, product launches, and seasonal buying cycles.
• Support the Purchasing Director with reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
