Job summary

HPC Insulation, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Ballymount, Dublin 24, is inviting applications for a Permanent, Full-Time Purchasing Co-Ordinator to support our stock management and procurement activities. The role coordinates with suppliers, 3PL providers and internal staff to optimise stock levels and meet business needs.

Key duties include stock profiling, ordering, inbound scheduling, cycle counts, pricing accuracy, and warehouse coordination, with collaboration across sales teams and supplier

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in stock control / profiling

Specialist Insulation Division, HPC Sales Ltd, Ballymount, Dublin 24, part of Home Project Centre Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a Permanent, Full-Time, Purchasing Co-Ordinator to join our Team. HPC Insulation is Ireland's leading distributor of specialist thermal, acoustic insulation and passive fire protection solutions, airtightness and associated building products. From our central distribution centre just off the M50 in Dublin, we deliver to all parts of the country. With industry leading experts in insulation, airtightness and passive fire protection, HPC offers a comprehension range of products from industry leading suppliers. Part of Irelands largest independent building material supply group, HPC Insulation now has an opportunity for a Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our operations team.

THE ROLE

The main purpose of the position is to manage and an appropriate stock profile to meet the needs of the business. This will involve liaising with suppliers, 3PL providers, as well as internal and external staff in relation managing an effective stock profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the stock profile of the business
• Stock ordering, inbound scheduling and receipt of goods
• Co-ordinate cycle counts and annual stock takes
• Ensure accuracy of supplier pricing and invoicing
• Co-ordination with warehouse function on managing and maintaining stock locations
• Support internal and external sales teams on stock queries
• Working closely with our suppliers to ensure best performance
• Maintain supplier price files
• Manage supplier queries in a timely manner

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

• 2 / 3 years' experience in stock control / profiling
• Self-motivated, with strong negotiation and planning skills
• Excellent organisational and communication (verbal and written) skills

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

• Managing and maintaining appropriate stock targets and requirements
• Accuracy of cycle counts and stock take outcomes
