Job summary

Gilligan Black Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist for an established Irish retail and distribution company in Dublin 24, office-based. You will manage inventory, procurement and coordination with freight partners, developing reports on shipping, stock levels, delays, quality and costs.

Responsibilities include placing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and investigating stock irregularities.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and procurement within retail/distribution.
• Strong stock management and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to develop and review logistics reports and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist €40'000 - €45'000 Dublin 24 (Based in office)

As the organization is growing there are excellent opportunities to grow your career. Your role will include: Inventory Management, Procurement and Supply chain coordination. Day to day you will be involved with: liaising with freight partners, investigating process to ensure smooth delivery on time, build relationships with logistics suppliers, include other stakeholders to ensure the best outcome, develop reports to include shipping, stock levels, delays, quality and costs. Place PO's, negotiations with existing and new suppliers, across delivery, quality and cost, ensure compliance with regulations, investigate irregularities in stock levels, deliveries or quality. Ensure stock levels remain consistent with requirements. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in projects led by the MD or Purchasing Director.
