Job summary

The Hardiman in Galway is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the back-of-house operations and ensure timely stock delivery. You will work to hotel policies and deliver high-quality customer service to internal teams.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good organisation and communication skills; training on Procure Wizard will be provided.

Purchasing Assistant- The Hardiman

Duties include:

To carry out your manage work efficiently and effectively throughout the back of house areas in accordance with the Hotel policies and procedures while providing Customers with superior quality Customer service at all times.

• Receipt of, checking and delivery of stock to departments
• Completing checklists as assigned by manager
• Upkeep of back of House Areas

The candidate

• Excellent attention to detail required and ability to plan and organise your tasks.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Reliable and hardworking
• Experience with Procure Wizard desirable but training provided
• Must be proficient in Computer systems
