Responsibilities

• Analyse purchasing requirements, source suitable suppliers, and obtain and compare quotations based on price, quality, availability and delivery terms
• Assist with supplier selection and negotiation of prices and purchasing terms
• Process and monitor purchase orders and coordinate deliveries with suppliers
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of required goods and materials
• Liaise with suppliers regarding prices, deliveries, shortages and order discrepancies
• Monitor supplier performance, including cost, quality and delivery
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
• Analyse procurement expenditure and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency
• Prepare procurement and supply chain reports to support management decision‑making
