Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, focusing on public sector opportunities and large government tenders. You will manage an existing portfolio of accounts, drive sales growth, maximise revenue, and deliver the highest level of customer service.

You will work with a team of sales professionals to respond to tenders, build strong relationships across multiple levels, and influence decisions with clear proposals and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development/account management, with exposure to public sector/Central Government advantageous.
• Experience in IT services and technology solutions rather than product sales.
• Knowledge of public sector tender processes and procurement dynamics.
• Strong influencing skills to coordinate across multiple levels without direct reporting lines.
• Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills; highly detail-oriented in tender documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an existing portfolio of public sector accounts to deliver sales growth and revenue targets.
• Lead responses to large government tenders and coordinate opportunities from the existing customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across levels to ensure high-quality service.
