Job summary

Cheeverstown is seeking a Psychology Project Worker to join the direct support team. This full-time, permanent role supports adults with intellectual disabilities across Dublin South and nearby areas, under the supervision of a Senior Clinical Psychologist.

You will help people access community activities and day services to meet their needs and desires. You will work toward community inclusion and meaningful lives using New Directions.

Qualifications

• Essential degree in psychology or equivalent with relevant registration.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities or neurodiverse presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to person-centred approaches and community inclusion.
• Full clean driving licence with access to own transport or company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports to individuals with intellectual disabilities within New Directions.
• Help service users access community activities and day services.
• Support goals of community inclusion and active citizenship.
• Collaborate with clinical team and maintain documentation as required.
