Job summary

Cheeverstown House is seeking Social Care Workers to join our team in community houses and day supports. You will deliver person-centred care, support independence and promote community inclusion, while working with families and MDTs.

We offer permanent contracts with both full-time and part-time hours. Applicants must hold a CORU-approved qualification at NFQ Level 7+ in Social Care or Applied Social Studies, and be registered with CORU.

Qualifications

• CORU-registered or eligible for CORU registration in Ireland.
• NFQ Level 7 or higher in Social Care/Applied Social Studies.
• Ability to work on own initiative and promote community inclusion.
• Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in supervising staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care in community houses and day supports.
• Promote independence and social inclusion for people supported.
• Collaborate with MDT, families and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting.
