Job summary

The Land Development Agency is seeking a Property Operations Accountant to support management accounting, budgeting, expenditure oversight and reporting. You will work with Finance, Procurement and Accounts Payable to improve financial oversight and enable informed decision-making.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years’ experience in property management accounts and strong Excel skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in property management accounts, management accounting, bookkeeping or a comparable finance role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Excellent relationship management skills (internal and external).
• Excellent attention to detail, with ability to review financial information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Collate, review and report monthly expenditure across cost rental block and land management operations.
• Support monthly ELT reporting with accurate data and clear analysis of trends.
• Monitor KPIs for cost rental block and land operations; identify budget pressures.
• Assist in variance analysis of actual vs budgets.
• Support benchmarking of operating costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reporting for cost rental and land management ops.
