Job summary

The Land Development Agency is seeking a experienced land and property manager to oversee a large portfolio of land, buildings and interim uses across Ireland. The role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship management and a proactive approach to asset management.

You will work with multiple internal teams, external service providers and finance to deliver on the LDA mandate. Applicants should have a minimum of four years in land/property management, a driving license, and familiarity

Qualifications

  • Have minimum 4 years land and/or property management experience.
  • Member of the SCSI or have route to membership in progress.
  • Excellent relationship management skills (internal and external).
  • Excellent communications skills – both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of title and legal documents.
  • Understanding of risk management and mitigation measures.
  • Good knowledge of land management best practices and related lettings.
  • Understanding of planning and development laws and Building Regulations and Heritage Buildings.
  • Must have own car, full clean driving license and ability to travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and proactively manage land and buildings within LDA ownership, including landbanks.
  • Support Senior Property Manager on commercial licences and land agreements.
  • Ensure land holdings are secure, safe and compliant with insurance requirements.
  • Engage with Insurance Team on site insurance requirements.
  • Develop annual land management budgets and deliver value-for-money strategies.
  • Deliver monthly reports on site expenditure, performance and compliance.
  • Support land strategy delivery and portfolio performance.
  • Manage day-to-day commercial property agreements and land.
  • Engage with approved contractors to deliver repairs and services.
  • Ensure timely handling of reactive repairs and quotations.
