Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Senior Project Manager for large residential developments in Cork City and County. Lead site management, liaise with authorities, and deliver multiple schemes over the next 2–3 years.

The ideal candidate brings 5 years in senior project roles, strong commercial acumen and proven ability to manage resources, budgets and reporting across multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Senior Project Manager in construction.
• Experience delivering large residential & commercial projects in Ireland/UK.
• Third-level qualification in Construction or Engineering desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial team in planning, tendering and delivery of developments.
• Provide specialist technical leadership on projects.
• Plan resources and monitor budgets.
• Implement best practice in project controls and reporting.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and labour requirements.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage Health & Safety files, Homebond applications and other docs.

One of Cork's leading housing developers is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing site management team for large residential projects in the city and county.

Role: Project Manager- Residential

Location: Cork City

Salary: €80-90k, vehicle, pension, bonus

Our client is a leader in delivery of high quality residential projects in Cork City and County. With several high profile projects already underway, they require a Senior Project Manager to help them with the next phase of projects which will see them deliver over 1000 homes in the next 2-3 years.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the commercial team in the planning, tendering and delivery of all developments
• Providing specialist technical leadership
• Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
• Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting.
• Monitoring sub-contractor performance and determining labour requirements.
• Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
• Being responsible for company Health & Safety files, Homebond applications and other important documents
• Attending weekly/monthly site meetings

The ideal candidate will:

• 5 years experience as Senior Project Manager
• Experience in large scale residential & commercial projects in Ireland or the UK
• Possess a third level qualification in a Construction or Engineering discipline desirable
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience liaising with local government, ESB, Irish Water and planning authorities
• Have proficient IT and report writing skills
