Job summary

BSS Building Staff Solutions Limited is recruiting a Senior Site Manager for a 450-unit residential development in Midleton, Co. Cork.

You will lead the project on site from groundworks through to handover, directing the site management team and coordinating with the client, design team and Contracts Manager. The role requires a proven track record delivering end-to-end on large residential schemes, strong leadership, programme management and a solid understanding of BCAR and QEHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven Senior Site Manager experience with a main contractor.
• Track record of end-to-end delivery on large residential schemes.
• Experience across houses and apartments.
• Strong leadership, programme management and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Good working knowledge of BCAR and QEHS requirements.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project on site from groundworks through to final handover
• Manage and direct the site management team, foremen and engineers
• Plan the phasing and sequencing of works across the houses, apartments and duplexes
• Deliver the works to programme and budget, tracking progress and flagging risks early
• Manage subcontractor packages, coordination and performance
• Lead health and safety on site and enforce compliance daily
• Maintain quality standards and manage BCAR inspections and close-out
• Manage phased completions, snagging and handover of units
• Liaise with the client, design team and Contracts Manager
