Irish Main Contractor in Cork is recruiting a Project Manager for a major healthcare development. You will lead the site team, manage the programme, subcontractors, quality, and safety through construction, fit out, commissioning and final handover.

You will coordinate with design, M&E and commercial teams to deliver the project safely, on time and to the required standard, with a focus on healthcare sector experience and strong leadership across disciplines.

Formación

• Must have 7+ years’ construction management experience.
• Proven experience delivering large building projects with an Irish main contractor.
• Experience managing projects through construction, fit out and handover.
• Strong subcontractor and programme management experience.

The Company

This Irish main contractor delivers healthcare, commercial, retail and hospitality projects across Munster. They are currently delivering a major healthcare development in Cork with a strong pipeline that includes hotel and large retail projects also across Cork.

The Role: Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of a major multi-million-euro healthcare development in County Cork. You will lead the site team and manage programme, subcontractors, quality and health and safety through construction, fit out, commissioning and final handover. Working closely with the design, M&E and commercial teams, you will coordinate specialist packages and ensure the project is delivered safely, to programme and to the required standard.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have 7+ years’ construction management experience
• Proven experience delivering large building projects with an Irish main contractor
• Must have experience managing projects through construction, fit out and handover
• Strong subcontractor and programme management experience

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare construction experience preferred
• Strong M&E coordination experience beneficial
• Hotel, retail or commercial project experience beneficial

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong main contractor background and a track record of delivering substantial building projects in Ireland. You will be comfortable taking ownership of programme, subcontractors and site delivery. Healthcare experience would be particularly relevant, although strong commercial, hotel or retail experience will also be considered.
