Job summary

ICDS (UK) Ltd in Limerick is seeking a Project Manager (Fit-Out) to lead an international main contractor on a large fit-out project. You will be the senior on-site leader responsible for delivery, quality, safety and financial performance.

Responsibilities include planning, managing and delivering to programme and budget; leading multidisciplinary teams; monitoring progress, risks, reporting and ensuring compliance with health and safety and statutory regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Experience in project management within Tier 1 construction/engineering.
• Relevant health and safety certification (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS).
• Desirable: professional membership or working towards CIOB/Engineers Ireland/RICS/ICE.
• Desirable: postgraduate qualification in project management or business management.
• Desirable: training in lean construction, digital project delivery or sustainability practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver projects in line with agreed programme, budget and specifications
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction functions
• Monitor progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions where required
• Ensure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achieved
• Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, quality and performance indicators
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across all activities
• Ensure all works comply with design, specifications and statutory regulations
• Implement and monitor project-specific quality plans, method statements and inspection regimes
• Support audits, inspections and reviews to maintain compliance and continuous improvement
• Manage budgets, forecasts, variations and project cash flow
• Work closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate reporting and contract administration
• Ensure procurement processes are followed and subcontractor performance is managed effectively
• Support tendering and bid processes where required
