Job summary

Quinn Downes Group in Clonmel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a new HVAC project. You will manage delivery, coordinate mechanical services and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards on site.

The role requires strong leadership, robust project management experience, and excellent communication to keep milestones and stakeholders aligned.

As part of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team to manage a new project in Clonmel.

Below is an outline of the main elements of the role.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of the project according to the contract requirements, time limits, company quality standards and construction regulations.
• Maintain Site Office and Stores to a high standard for the duration of the Project.
• Co-ordinating mechanical services and builders work drawings.
• Issue of Bi-Weekly P&T HILTI Reports.
• Order materials and check plant deliveries dates ensuring they arrive on programme.
• Recording deliveries, liaising with suppliers and issuing signed delivery dockets to the Procurement Department as required.
• Assist payroll with any Timesheet queries that may arise.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct staff on site regarding safety, quality, and co-ordinating installations.Assist the Project Engineers, ensuring the Quality Assured Doc’s are delivered at the Milestones set out.
• Attend site meetings.
• Attend white board meetings with the main contractor to review daily updates.
• Ensure all installations on site are maintained to QDG standards.
• Assist the Contracts Manager in producing a programme of works for the project.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
• Project closedown actions and decant from site.
• Previous project management experience of HVAC installations.
• Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.
• An excellent communicator and leader who is able to motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on continuous performance improvements in day-to-day tasks.
