Job summary

Quinn Downes Group is seeking an Operations Manager with extensive HVAC experience to oversee our projects team in Ireland. The role emphasizes labour control, payroll collaboration, and leadership across site staff, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ISO-compliant processes.

You will work closely with Project Directors to drive performance, manage relationships, and ensure delivery within timelines while maintaining high standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years' experience in the HVAC industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage projects and deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Weekly labour control and management.
• Assist payroll with timesheet queries.
• Collaborate with Apprentice Skills Manager in developing apprentices.
• Point of contact for site staff; maintain communication and relationships.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives with Project Directors.
• Follow ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 templates; update processes with input from Project Directors.
• All other duties associated with the role.

As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our expanding team. The Operations Manager will be experienced in the HVAC industry, and be heavily involved in the running of our projects team.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Weekly labour control and management.
• Assist payroll with any timesheet queries that may arise.
• Collaborate with Apprentice Skills Manager in the development of our Apprentices.
• Point of contact for our site staff, maintaining good communication and relationships with them.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on continuous performance improvements in day-to-day tasks in conjunction with Project Directors.
• Follow & adhere to internal templates & procedures for all works carried out, in line with ISO standards 9001, 14001 and 45001. Updating of processes and procedures with input and agreement from Project Directors.
• All other duties associated with the role.

• 10+ years' experience in the HVAC industry is required.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• An excellent communicator and leader who is able to motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines and rise to new challenges with enthusiasm.
• Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.
• Ability to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationships.
• Be a motivated and highly dependable individual.
• Full drivers' licence is required.
