Quinn Downes Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a Healthcare project in Cavan Town. You will manage delivery to contract, ensure quality, safety, and timely completion, and coordinate mechanical services and suppliers on site.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on continuous improvement across project activities and team performance.

Qualifications

• HVAC project management experience, healthcare projects preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project according to contract, time, quality standards and regulations.
• Maintain Site Office and Stores to high standards.
• Coordinate mechanical services and builders work drawings.
• Issue Bi-Weekly P&T HILTI Reports.
• Maintain master requisition schedule and progress.
• Order materials and check delivery dates to align with programme.
• Record deliveries and liaise with suppliers, issue delivery dockets.
• Assist payroll with timesheet queries.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct staff on safety and quality on site.
• Assist Project Engineers to deliver QA documents at milestones.
• Attend site and whiteboard meetings with main contractor.
• Ensure installations meet Quinn Downes Group standards.
• Assist Contracts Manager to produce a programme of works.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
• Project close-down actions and site decant.

As part of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team to manage a Healthcare project in Cavan Town.

Below is an outline of the main elements of the role.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of the project according to the contract requirements, time limits, company quality standards and construction regulations.
• Maintain Site Office and Stores to a high standard for the duration of the Project.
• Co-ordinating mechanical services and builders work drawings.
• Issue of Bi-Weekly P&T HILTI Reports.
• Maintain master requisition schedule.
• Order materials and check plant deliveries dates ensuring they arrive on programme.
• Recording deliveries, liaising with suppliers and issuing signed delivery dockets to the Procurement Department as required.
• Assist payroll with any Timesheet queries that may arise.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct staff on site regarding safety, quality, and co-ordinating installations.
• Assist the Project Engineers, ensuring the Quality Assured Doc's are delivered at the Milestones set out.
• Attend site meetings.
• Attend white board meetings with the main contractor to review daily updates.
• Ensure all installations on site are maintained to QDG standards.
• Assist the Contracts Manager in producing a programme of works for the project.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
• Project closedown actions and decant from site.

Desire Criteria

• Previous project management experience of HVAC installations, preferably on a healthcare project.
• Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.
• An excellent communicator and leader who is able to motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on continuous performance improvements in day-to-day tasks.
