Job summary

RT.Lane in Killarney is seeking a Construction Project Manager with 5+ years at PM level to lead a multi-million euro project in Ireland. You will coordinate clients, subcontractors and the design team to deliver on time and within budget.

You will drive weekly programmes, manage site staff, oversee design development and RFIs, and uphold a strong Health & Safety culture across the project lifecycle.

Fantastic opportunity for a Construction Project Manager for an excellent project in Killarney , this role will suit someone with at least 5 years experience at Project Management level, managing and leading multi million euro projects.

Role:

Key Activities

• Liaise with various staff and senior stakeholders, including Clients, Sub-contractors, Senior Engineer, Foreman, and Quantity Surveyor.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project through leadership, management, and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Management of Design Team relationships
• Management of the design development processes including the RFI processes and design development workshop activities where required.
• Manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
• Plan weekly work programmes and produce weekly reports on project progress.
• Oversee the site team to ensure key milestones are met.
• Manage the project design process while working alongside the commercial team.
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager and report progress to ensure the site programme aligns with budget and commercial objectives.
• Continuously reinforce the Health & Safety culture, striving for an accident-free site.
• Attend and chair weekly management meetings.
• Manage the complete day-to-day lifecycle of the project, from initial stages through to handover.

Education & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have progressed from Senior Engineer role to Project Manager level.
• Knowledge of Civil works and associated construction methods required.
• Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of the demands and expectations of the role in a dynamic environment.
