GPC - Global Professional Consultants in Monaghan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the delivery of a prestigious government building project. You will oversee pre-construction through completion, coordinating with clients, design teams, subcontractors and internal departments to meet timetable, budget and quality targets.

The role demands proven main-contractor experience, excellent leadership and strong planning, budgeting and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and onsite supply chain.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
• Develop, monitor and update project programmes to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Resolve onsite issues efficiently while maintaining programme, quality and budget.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting and commercial performance.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, a leading contractor are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Monaghan and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a new government building This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager to work on high-value, technically challenging projects with a well-established contractor.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, management and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the client, design teams, subcontractors, site management and commercial teams to ensure effective project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to successful completion.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely and in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and the onsite supply chain.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
• Develop, monitor and update project programmes to ensure milestones are achieved.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.

• Experience working on Construction projects is highly advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting and programme management.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to a high standard.
