Job summary

HERO Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Engineer to lead data center projects across Ireland and continental Europe, coordinating manufacturing and installation teams, tendering, designing and delivering installations.

You will manage multiple subcontractors, attend installations to troubleshoot, measure and estimate quotes, lead a small multidisciplinary team and liaise with design and manufacturing to mitigate delays.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing sub contractors on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and design packages.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Are you a Project Manager working closely with manufacturing and installation teams to help tender, design and install a range of industrial and commercial projects throughout Ireland and on the continent.

Due to continued growth in our clients business they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Project Engineer who wishes to contribute and participate in the successful growth and expansion of a proven business. Working mainly in the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple jobs/sub-contractors and navigate the complexities of site installation.
• Be present at installation to trouble shoot and issues.
• The understanding and ability to measure, estimate and submit quotes.
• Manage a small multi-disciplinary team and ensure that all pre-site preparation work is in place.
• Liaise with Design and Manufacturing teams on potential issues, delays.

Ideally you will have :

• Experience in managing sub contractors on a construction site.
• Steel work or metal fabrication experience an advantage.
• A good knowledge of, and be comfortable with, the interpretation of drawings and the output of different design packages.
• Open to regular European travel.
