Job summary
Storm-Recruitment in Wicklow, Republic of Ireland, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead industrial engineering and capital projects from scope through to installation, commissioning and completion. Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Process, Energy or a related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience delivering industrial engineering, capital or process-related projects.
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams.
- Proven experience with budget ownership and project schedule management.
- Experience with one or more industrial utility or process systems.
- Full clean driver's licence and access to own transport.
- PMP certification.
- AutoCAD 2D experience.
- Knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned projects from initial scope through to installation, commissioning and completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, internal engineering teams and site personnel.
- Manage project budgets, schedules and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee installation planning, commissioning and on-site project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Drive effective resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Monitor project costs, forecast expenditure and implement corrective actions where required.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professional stakeholder relationships.
- Support continuous improvement across project delivery processes, systems and standards.
