Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major organisation delivering complex data centre and mission‑critical projects in Europe. This senior role manages live environments from planning to completion, including programme, cost, safety, quality, subcontractors and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data centres, critical infrastructure or M&E projects, with a strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical and life-safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data centres or M&E environments.
• Experience delivering data centre upgrade, modification or fit-out projects.
• Strong budget and client/stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, execution plans and key milestones.
• Manage project costs, budgets, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety and compliance.
• Manage project risks, technical issues, delays and escalations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual SLAs, KPIs and scope requirements are achieved.
• Oversee RAMS, risk assessments, permits and other health and safety requirements.
• Produce regular project reports covering progress, programme, costs and key issues.
• Coordinate technical and delivery issues across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major organisation delivering complex projects within the European data centre and mission‑critical sector.

This senior project delivery role manages projects and upgrade works in live, complex data centre environments. You will take responsibility for projects from planning through to completion, managing programme, cost, safety, quality, subcontractors, vendors and client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centres, critical infrastructure or complex M&E projects, with a good technical understanding of the systems that keep data centre facilities operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget and quality requirements.

Technical Experience

Candidates should have a good understanding of critical data centre infrastructure, including areas such as:

Electrical: Transformers, generators, fuel systems, switchgear, UPS, battery systems, ATS/STS and PDU systems.

Mechanical: AHUs, chilled water systems and associated cooling infrastructure.

Life Safety: Fire alarm, fire suppression and pre-action sprinkler systems.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' Project Management experience.
• Experience working within data centres, critical infrastructure or complex M&E environments.
• Experience delivering data centre upgrade, modification or fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of critical mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors and external service providers.
• Strong budget and commercial management experience.i>
• Relevant project management, engineering or technical qualification.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements, RAMS and risk control.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
