Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead client on-boarding, conversions and launches within the Transfer Agency business in Dublin. You will act as the primary client contact for TA workstreams and run project governance from planning through sign-off.

You will coordinate across Fund Accounting, Custody, Legal and Risk, manage steering committees and oversee multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Transfer Agency operations or direct TA onboarding/conversion project management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end TA model and interactions with Fund Accounting and Custody.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder, client-facing projects in financial services.
• Solid risk and issue management discipline.

Responsibilities

Job description

A leading global financial services provider is hiring a Project Manager to lead new client on-boarding, conversions, launches and de-conversions within its Transfer Agency business. You'll act as the primary point of contact for clients on the TA workstream, running project governance from planning through to sign-off, while coordinating across Fund Accounting, Custody, Legal and Risk.

This is a client-facing delivery role, you'll be running Steering Committees, managing workstream leads, and troubleshooting multiple concurrent projects at pace.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Hands-on experience in Transfer Agency Operations, or direct experience managing a Transfer Agency on-boarding/conversion project from another TA provider — this is essential
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end TA model and how it interacts with Fund Accounting and Custody
• Solid grounding in project/programme management methodology, with the flexibility to adapt it to a fast-moving, matrix environment
• A track record managing multi-stakeholder, client-facing projects in financial services
• Strong risk and issue management discipline
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Comfortable operating independently and driving delivery without heavy oversight

Nice to Have

• PMP or equivalent, or 2–5 years' PM experience in financial services
• Prior experience in client on-boarding specifically (as opposed to BAU TA)
• Knowledge of AML/regulatory requirements in the funds space
• Experience managing direct or indirect reports in a virtual team setting
