Job summary

Cpl Group is seeking two experienced Project Managers for Transfer Agency client onboarding in Dublin. The roles cover complex, client-facing projects from initiation to go-live, focusing on onboarding, conversions and deconversions across multiple clients and locations.

The ideal candidates bring strong Transfer Agency expertise, end-to-end project management and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including operations and technology. Hybrid model with on-site presence in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transfer Agency, fund administration or asset servicing.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Transfer Agency operating model.
• PM/change/implementation or client onboarding experience.
• Experience managing client conversions, migrations, onboarding or deconversions is desirable.
• Knowledge of account opening, AML/KYC, cash flows and fund setup.
• Experience with institutional clients and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management.

Project Manager – Transfer Agency / Client Onboarding

The Role

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to join a leading global financial services organisation within its European Transfer Agency Client Onboarding function.

The successful candidates will manage complex, client-facing Transfer Agency projects from initiation through to implementation and go-live. The roles will focus on major client conversion/onboarding and deconversion projects, working across clients, Transfer Agency operations, technology and technical implementation teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Transfer Agency professionals with strong project delivery skills to join an established European team and manage high-profile client transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex Transfer Agency projects from planning through to implementation and go-live.
• Lead either a major new client conversion/onboarding or client deconversion/offboarding project.
• Define and agree operating models with clients, operations and internal stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and deliverables.
• Lead regular client and internal project meetings, providing clear updates and driving actions through to completion.
• Coordinate fund and account setup, operational readiness, data conversion and technical implementation activities.
• Work closely with Transfer Agency operations, technology and specialist technical setup teams.
• Manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders across Ireland, Luxembourg and other locations.
• Support conversion rehearsals, implementation planning and go-live activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, governance and quality standards.

Experience Required

• Strong experience within Transfer Agency, fund administration or asset servicing.
• Excellent understanding of the end-to-end Transfer Agency operating model.
• Previous project management, change, implementation or client onboarding experience.
• Experience managing client conversions, migrations, onboarding or deconversions is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of areas such as account opening and registration, AML/KYC, dealing, cash flows, fund setup, distributions/dividends and other core Transfer Agency processes.
• Experience working with institutional clients and senior internal stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to confidently lead client meetings and discuss operational processes and solutions.
• Experience within a major fund services organisation such as State Street, BNY, Northern Trust, Citi or a similar environment would be advantageous.
• NSCC knowledge or experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will combine strong Transfer Agency knowledge with project delivery experience. We are particularly interested in experienced TA professionals who have moved into project management, change, implementation or client onboarding roles.

Candidates without direct Transfer Agency experience may also be considered where they have strong Project Management experience within the wider funds, custody or asset servicing industry.

The successful candidates will join an established European onboarding team with experienced Project Managers, senior leadership and dedicated technical setup support.

Some planned evening or weekend availability may be required around key project go-live dates, with potential occasional travel to Luxembourg.
