Vertiv Ireland Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex electrical infrastructure projects from design to delivery, including BIM coordination, manufacturing, site delivery and close-out. Project Manager - Busbar | MEP & Data Centres Lead Complex Electrical Infrastructure Projects from Design to Delivery Are you an experienced Project Manager with an engineering, construction, MEP or electrical background looking for your next challenge? This is a high-impact role where you'll take projects from sales handover and engineering through BIM coordination, manufacturing, site delivery and final close-out. You'll be the key point of contact for the client, bringing together engineering, BIM, production, commercial, procurement and site teams to deliver complex projects safely, efficiently, on programme and to specification. This isn't a purely administrative Project Manager position. You'll be working across the complete project lifecycle, combining technical understanding, construction coordination, commercial management and client leadership.
You'll gain exposure to:
5+ years' Project Management experience within engineering, manufacturing, MEP, electrical, construction or data centre environments. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously from initial handover through to completion. Experience taking ownership of client-facing projects in a delivery-focused environment. Experience within an engineer-to-order, project-driven or technically complex organisation. Strong understanding of how engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site activities interact within a project programme.
You’ll ideally bring experience in several of the following:
Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline. PMP, PRINCE2 or IPMA certification would be advantageous. An engineering or electrical background is particularly desirable.
You’re comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change, projects run concurrently and successful delivery depends on strong collaboration across multiple teams. You'll be: Technically minded with the ability to understand complex engineering and construction requirements. Commercially astute, with a strong focus on cost, programme and project performance. Client‑focused, confident managing expectations and building long‑term relationships. Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. A strong communicator who can influence teams without relying on direct line management authority. Comfortable working across engineering, BIM, manufacturing, commercial, procurement and site teams. A confident decision‑maker who takes accountability and drives projects through to completion.
